Features blade front and adjustable 1,000 meter rear sights, the model and patent markings on top of the receiver, and a five-pointed star over "CRANSTON/ARMS/CO." in a triangle on the right side below the rear sight. The barrel is marked ".30-06/41" on the flange. Fitted with a two piece stock featuring a checkered steel buttplate. Included with the rifle is a 1941 dated Johnson manual, a copy of Bruce Canfield's "Johnson Rifles and Machine Guns", a Johnson spike bayonet (11 3/4 inches overall, 8 3/4 inch blade), and two extra barrels (one 19 inches with a 30-06 marked chamber, the other 22 inches with a 7mm marked chamber).

Fine as refinished with 80% of the parkerized finish showing some bright wear on the barrel and along the high edges as well as some scattered dings and handling marks. The magazine body shows a mild gray/green tone, and some polishing marks are on the blued bolt handle. The stock is good with a crack running between the trigger guard and the magazine, some chipping around the screws and mild dings and scuffs overall. The bayonet and spare barrels are in good condition, but the 19 inch barrel may have been shortened. Mechanically very good.
