Manufactured in April of 1943. Features a fixed blade front and adjustable rear peep sights. The barrel is dated "4-43". Fitted with a "W.R.A." marked trigger housing and Springfield marked safety, hammer, and bolt. The operating rod is Springfield Armory with the drawing number "D35382 SA". The front right receiver leg is marked "034/diamond/D 28291 27". Mounted on a smooth oil finished handguard and stock set with a circled "P" on the grip and faint numbers on the left side of the buttstock. The butt is fitted with a stamped, checkered steel buttplate with a trapdoor. Includes a green canvas web sling.

Fine as arsenal refurbished. 95% plus post-war dark green parkerized finish remains with scattered light handling marks and some small areas of edge wear on the high points. The sanded, reoiled wood is very good with light markings, handling marks, scattered small dings and what appears to be two small spots of filler on the right side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
