Manufactured in June of 1943. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with a locking bar equipped "BATTLE RANGE" elevation drum. Fitted with an original Winchester barrel, Winchester "D28287-1W.R.A." bolt, "C 46025 W.R.A." trigger guard, "D28290 W.R.A." trigger housing, "C46008-1W.R.A." hammer, "W.R.A." safety and a "D35382-W.R.A." operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled serifed "P" on the wrist, "WRA/GHD" and crossed cannon Ordnance cartouches on the left side, "889" stamped just ahead of the toe and a steel buttplate with cleaning tools inside the compartment.

Fine with 80% of the thin original finish, showing the usual bright wear and roughness on the gas tube, as well as some high edge wear and mild handling marks overall. The fine stock shows a number of shallow dents, and is solid overall with legible markings. Mechanically very good.
