Description:

Manufactured in 1939. The top of the barrel and slide have been equipped with a Colt King Super Target sight system with a vent rib, Patridge front and adjustable rear target sights. The left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN" and the left side of the side is marked "COLT" followed by the two line caliber marking and the Rampant Colt. The serial number is on the front strap. Two tone Colt Woodsman marked magazine and fitted with walnut target grips with smooth sides, checkered heel and toe and a right hand thumb rest. The back strap has the horizontal serrations at the top indicating the pistol was designed for high velocity ammunition. Comes with a maroon hinged lid box with correct end labels.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% plus refinished blue finish with only light handling/storage marks. There are a few small pressure dents on the grips. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is about good with some white speckled stains on the lid, some wear and separation on one end and most of the labels remain.
