Manufactured in 1939. The left side of the barrel is marked with two line address/1903, 1918 patent dates, the left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN" and the left side of the slide "COLT AUTOMATIC/CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" followed by the Rampant Colt. Features a King custom installed barrel weight tube, elevation adjustable blade front and windage adjustable rear sights, serrated trigger, blue Colt Woodsman marked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Comes with a black hinged lid box with correct end labels, serial number penciled on the bottom, sight screwdriver, cleaning brush and papers.

Very fine plus. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some muzzle and high point wear, and some minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent with some light wear, a couple of minor dents and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some corner and edge wear, some loose of covering and four separated corners on the lid.
