Ramp blade and adjustable notch sights, with the model and caliber markings hand engraved into the left side of the barrel, the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame, serial number in the yoke cutout and "INS" on the left side of the grip straps, otherwise unmarked. With a Colt maroon box numbered to gun, and a factory letter which confirms the features (including the absent grips), box with Custom Shop label indicating D frame and GX serial number and states the revolver was kept by Colt as an experimental prototype.

Near new, with some light handling marks overall.
