Manufactured in 1956. Built on the large 5 screw N frame and equipped with a red ramp front sight and adjustable white outline target rear sight. Blue with casehardened target hammer and trigger. The barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" on the left and "44 MAGNUM" on the right with the S&W logo on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a set of checkered grips with inset silver S&W medallions. Includes the correct early production black leatherette case and cleaning tools. The revolver is consecutively numbered to the "B" gun of this lot.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish, small handling marks, minimal muzzle wear, and a small cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with small marks on the exterior and missing inner liner for the lid.

The grips are very fine with small handling marks, light scattered indentations, and some small chips on the left panel. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with storage and handling marks, clear markings, and some fading on the interior lining.
