Manufactured in 1953 and subsequently masterfully engraved and gold inlaid. The barrel features two thin inlaid gold bands at the muzzle, with 1 1/2 inch wedges of fine scroll engraving, two matching gold bands at the breech and wedges of scroll with the standard Winchester markings. Broad leafy floral scroll and finely detailed gold inlay are on the receiver. 2 3/4 inch chamber, improved modified choke, fleur de lis checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap, and solid rubber recoil pad. The stock dimensions are: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Very fine as professionally custom embellished and finished with 99% of the high polish blue, light handling marks overall and sharp engraving. The highly figured walnut stock and forearm are both very fine with attractive color, crisp checkering, and attractive finish. Mechanically excellent. Though the engraving is unsigned, this piece certainly shows a highly advanced level of craftsmanship.
