Manufactured without sights, this wonderfully factory embellished rifle features the classic pre-64 controlled round feed action, long broad Mauser style blade extractor, brilliantly jeweled bolt body and a round knob blue bolt handle with fine knurling. The barrel has the standard address, caliber, and model markings on the sides near the center, and at the breech it features delicate, finely crafted gold inlaid accents with "SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL" on the right side preceded by the Safari Club logo. This logo is also found on the left side at the breech. The receiver features delicate floral scroll etching on both sides of the front and rear rings as well as gold inlaid borders. The top of the receiver has been fitted with scope bases, rings, and a Bausch & Lomb 3-9x40 scope. The floor plate features extensive, detailed floral scroll etching with "25th ANNIVERSARY" and "46 OF 200" at the top and bottom respectively. The center features a brilliant gold portrait of a male African lion. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered stock with a contrasting forend cap, inset sling swivel eyes, and a solid Winchester recoil pad. Includes a box numbered to the gun.

Near new with only a few light handling marks. The box is about good with a few tears and general storage and handling marks.
