Established in 1977, Luciano Bosis produces fine bespoke shotguns on a by order basis with an estimated production of 25 guns annually. Single high visibility red bead sight on the matte solid rib barrels inscribed "LUCIANO BOSIS-BRESCIA ITALY" on the left side forward of the breech. Features 2 3/4 inch chambers and open chokes. The receiver is vividly case colored with almost full coverage fine, detailed, English style scroll and rose bouquet engraving. The engraver's signature "Naida Martinelli" is found on the bottom of the receiver to the right of the trigger guard in fine script. Fitted with a single trigger and tang mounted thumb safety. Mounted on a highly figured, finely checkered forearm with engraved fittings and an inset gold Luciano Bosis coat of arms in the center. The buttstock is a straight grip with fine line checkering, dark mineral lines, fully engraved lower tang, an inset gold initial oval, and a finely checkered bare butt. This beautiful shotgun includes a red leather bound Luciano Bosis takedown case with a three piece rosewood cleaning rod, rosewood and brass snap caps, cleaning rod heads, horn handled brass chamber brush, two extra firing pins, two extra mainsprings, mainspring tool, and papers. The barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .631/.631 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0345/.0345 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Excellent with 99% original blue and casehardened finishes and minimal scattered light handling marks overall. The case colors are incredibly vivid. The wood is also excellent with fine, crisp checkering, rich color and mineral lines, and a few small impressions on the sides of the buttstock. The case is good with scattered scuffs, gouges, and marks on the exterior.
