Manufactured in 1933. This shotgun has a single nickel bead sight with a skeet choke, 3 inch chamber, and standard markings. The proper Winchester proofs are present on the top of the barrel and receiver, and matching serial numbers on the underside at the breech. The takedown ring serial number has been double struck, possibly replacement. Mounted on a checkered walnut extended forearm and straight grip stock with a vented rubber recoil pad. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.
Fine as modified (see above) with 70% original blue finish, areas of high point and edge wear, handling marks, traces of spotting, and clear markings. The wood is fine with the non-factory added recoil pad, small indentations and nicks, well defined checkering, and handling marks throughout. Mechanically excellent.
