Manufactured in 1958. Fitted with a single steel bead sight on the barrel with a 3 inch chamber and a full choke. The barrel has standard markings. The top of the receiver and barrel are stamped with the Winchester oval "WP" proof at the breech. Mounted on a 14 groove forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester buttplate. This shotgun is consecutively numbered to the previous Model 42 shotgun in this auction. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Very fine. 80% original blue finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear and small handling and cycling marks. The wood is also very fine with handling marks, a few small dings, and scattered small abrasions. Mechanically excellent.
