Manufactured in 1950 during the transition period (late 1945 to 1951). Ramp front sight with provisions for a hood, filler block in the rear sight dovetail and Leupold 2x7 Vari-XII scope mounted to the receiver. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the barrel and receiver, late safety, polished bolt numbered to the gun, straight receiver tang, sling swivels, leather sling, and checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 75% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is a series of scratches on the barrel near the muzzle. The revarnished stock is very good with some scattered minor handling marks and some scattered blemishes in the checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
