Manufactured in 1957. Pinned serrated ramp blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights. Matching serial numbers are on the frame and yoke, ejector rod shroud correctly counter bored (a trait found only on early Python models) and checkered grips with inset gold Colt medallions. Includes the original box, extra set of grips, Colt tool, and papers.

Very good. 90% original blue finish remains on the barrel and frame with areas of high point and edge wear, surface scratches, and a drag line on the cylinder. The left side plate has been refinished, and the Rampant Colt buffed light. The grips are very good with well defined checkering and scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with corner and edge wear, storage marks, and some partially separated corners.
