Manufactured in 1981. Blade front sight and square notch adjustable rear sights, with the Python legend and Hartford address on the barrel, "VP" and "V" on the left trigger guard shoulders, and a pair of checkered Colt medallion grips. A pair of thin vent ports have been cut into the muzzle, one on either side of the rib; while not documented, the porting is professionally executed in the Mag-Na-Port style. With an unlabeled Colt blue box.

Excellent, with 99% plus original nickel finish, showing mild edge wear and handling marks overall. A tiny ding is present on the right side of the front sight, and a small amount of discoloration near the muzzle. The grips show a few light dings on the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
