Manufactured 1870-1882. Top strap groove sight with the left side marked "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865". Five shot unfluted cylinder, the serial number is marked on the butt of the frame, and the partial matching serial number "45" is marked on the cylinder and cylinder pin. The silver plated brass frame has the standard broad leaf scroll and punch dot engraving and checkered shield on the rear.

Very good plus. The cylinder has a mottled gray patina with some minor to deep pitting. The frame retains 50% of the original silver plating with the exposed brass having a pleasant patina. Mechanically excellent.
