Manufactured in 1907 and subsequently custom engraved with leaf and geometric designs consisting of zigzag lines covering the barrel, frame, cylinder and back strap. The embellishment appears to be from Wolf & Klar of Texas or is at least very similar to their work. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address, and "45 COLT" is on the left. The left side of the frame is marked with the two-line, three-patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Some of the engraving goes over the markings. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, all nickel finish and fitted with stag grips with a floral medallion on the left and a Colt medallion on the right

Very good as custom embellished with 97% of the replated nickel finish remaining, showing some muzzle and edge wear. There is a small amount of minor pitting visible under the finish on the hammer. The grips are fine. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is excellent.
