Manufactured in 1875, this is a beautiful example of a Colt New Line 30 revolver with acid etched caliber panel. The top of the barrel is stamped with the two-line Hartford address. The left side of the barrel has a crisp "COLT NEW 30" etched panel. The right side of the frame is marked "30 CAL" behind the recoil shield. Matching numbers are found on the butt, rear cylinder face and underside of the barrel. The revolver sports a nickel finish with niter blue cylinder pin, hammer, trigger and screw heads. Fitted with highly attractive birds head mother of pearl grips.

Excellent plus. The revolver retains 98% plus original nickel finish showing extremely limited loss around the grips. Nearly all of the etched panel remains. 85% original niter blue finish remains. The grips are also excellent plus with highly attractive color. Mechanically excellent. You would be hard pressed to find a better conditioned Colt New Line 30 revolver with etched .30 caliber panel and pearl grips!
