Manufactured 1868-1882. Top strap groove sight with the left side marked "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865". Seven shot unfluted cylinder, the serial number is marked on the butt of the frame, and the number "3" is marked on the cylinder. The cylinder pin has an illegible number. The silver plated brass frame has the standard broad leaf scroll and punch dot engraving and checkered shield on the rear.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The cylinder and hammer have a dark mottled patina with traces of original case colors remaining on the hammer. There is some minor pitting on the cylinder. The modified cylinder pin head has missing material. The frame retains 90% plus original silver plating with loss on the high edges. Mechanically excellent.
