Description:

Single bead sight on the British-proofed German silver barrel, with a smooth hammer and a folding trigger. Two blades were originally present. The blade on the left has broken off at the very top of the ricasso, and the blade on the right measures 3 1/4 inches with "SELF/PROTECTOR" etching and the Rodgers address on the ricasso. The main body is steel with German silver fittings. It has smooth horn grip scales secured with steel pins, a pair of tweezers in the right grip, a small bullet mold in the left, and a storage compartment in the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The steel components show a mixed gray patina overall with mild spotting and handling marks. The blade is very good with faint, but legible acid etching. The second blade is broke off at base. The grips are good with some cracking around the pins. Mechanically very good.
