This 19th century pistol was obviously manufactured as an unlicensed copy of Henry Deringer's popular mid-19th century pocket pistol design. It has no visible markings. The barrel has a faux Damascus finish different from the style used by Deringer and Slotter & Co. The lock, breech, and trigger guard have scroll engraving.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel retains 60% of the original striped finish. The German silver has lightly aged patina, and the balance has gray and brown patina. The stock is also fine and has crisp checkering and a small chip on the left flat. The lock is mechanically fine, and the engraving is crisp.
