The receiver is marked "JOH SPRINGER ERBEN IN WIEN" (right side), and "K.K. KAMMER GEWEHR LIFFERANTEN" (left side), all in decorative banners. Quick detachable double set trigger assembly, full adjustable tang sight with engraved base, and double layer Swiss style straight grip stock with checkering, and casehardened Schuetzen buttplate.

Fine with 40% of the original blue finish on the barrel. The blue has aged to a thin browning patina with small dings and nicks, clear markings, light edge wear and general handling marks. The action as aged to a mostly silver patina with general handling marks and very light scattered spotting. The wood is fine with well defined checkering, general handling marks, small indentations throughout, and a slight gap at the toe junction with the buttplate. Mechanically very good.
