The trigger guard is marked "75" on the right and "X/VP" on the left, with a full blue finish, checkered grips with Colt medallions, and a two-tone magazine. A Japanese pattern russet leather holster for a .32 caliber Colt pistol. Between 1919 and 1939, almost 20,000 Colt .32 caliber pistols were shipped to various dealers and retailers in Japan within the serial number range 429747 and 537979, which this pistol falls well within.

Fine. 60% original thinning blue finish remains with high point and edge wear consistent with military service, areas of mottled gray/brown patina, clear markings, surface scratches, and a mostly brown patina on the grip straps. The grips are good with small indentations and bruising, well-worn checkering, and dented medallions. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with the magazine pouch absent, age cracks, loose strap on flap, and scuffs throughout.
