The barrel is fitted with a ramped winged pin head front sight and 6 inch grooved section for rear sight mounting. The left and right upper barrel flats are marked "BOHLER STAHL", and standard commercial German proofs are on the bottom under the forearm with a proof date of July 1927 (7.24). The action is marked with German profs on the right side of the receiver and breechblock. The left side of the breechblock is marked "SYSTEM/AYDT" over the serial number. Matching serial numbers are found on the barrel, trigger plate, barrel wedge, buttplate, lever, and even the shanks of the buttplate screws. Original adjustable tang peep sight with a large diopter, double set triggers and quick removable trigger group. Schnabel tip forearm and checkered straight grip stock with a broad schuetzen style cheekpiece, lower sling swivel, and casehardened single hook Tyrolean buttplate.

Excellent with 85% of the blue on the barrel. Showing some areas of light edge wear, small dings, and light spotting. The action has 95% vibrant case colors with handling marks and areas of spotting and light pitting on the action lever. The wood is fine with general handling marks, scattered indentations, chipping near the buttplate and some aged wood shrinkage. Mechanically very good.
