Built on a new semi-automatic side plate and a mixture of military surplus and commercial components, this is a "street legal" semi-automatic version of John Browning's Model 1919 machine gun. The vintage Colt nomenclature is present on the exterior of the left side plate, with McGuire's "JBM" markings and address concealed inside the right side plate (visible with cover open and bolt retracted), with a blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, and a flash hider on the water jacket. The pistol grip is furnished with smooth wood grips, with a flip-switch safety installed on the rear of the receiver. Included with the gun is an Argentine Model 1928 folding field mount, and an unidentified aluminum plate (appears compatible with a mounting point on the field mount, but purpose unknown).

Very fine as remanufactured/refurbished overall with 95% of the parkerized finish showing some mild handling marks overall. The field mount is good showing some braising of the legs near the joints, some roughness of the teeth, and signs of rough handling. The pins securing the gun to the mount appear to be replacements. The safety is non-functional, but the item is otherwise mechanically excellent.
