An evolution of the 1932 Olympia, variants of the 1936 Olympia were used by German athletes at the Berlin Summer Olympics. This variant, the Schnellfeuer, was intended for rapid fire events, with mounting points for weights (not included) on both the frame and barrel. Equipped with adjustable blade front and notch rear sights, with the Walther banner, address, patent and "Olympia-Pistole" markings on the left side of the slide, "CAL.22 long rifle" on the right, matching numbers on the slide and frame and "eagle/N" proofs on the chamber and barrel. Fitted with a set of finely checkered grips featuring a pronounced right handed thumbrest and a brown plastic magazine base.

Very fine with 80% plus of the original blue finish showing some mild scratches on the sides of the barrel, bright wear along the high edges and at the weight mounting points, a mixed gray patina on the front strap and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very good with a few mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
