Description:

Introduced for the Los Angeles Summer Olympics, the 1932 Hammerless Target was the forerunner to the 1936 Olympic. Screw adjustable blade front and drift adjustable notch rear sights, with "crown/N" proofs on the slide, chamber and barrel, the Walther address and caliber marking on the right side of the slide opposite the Walther banner and patent marking, a knurled safety/slide catch, checkered grip with a right handed thumbrest and a full blue magazine numbered "83".

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 80% of the original blue finish showing a mixed gray patina on the front strap, bright edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. A slight plum tone is visible around the slide stop notches, possibly the result of factory-executed differential hardening in those areas. The grips are very good with some scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent.
