A) Mauser Model 1914/34 Scandinavian Police Semi-Automatic Pistol

Description:

Standard one-line "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF a.N." marking on the left side of the slide, "Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right. Elongated Mauser banner on the left side plate and bottom of the magazine. The top of the slide behind the notch rear sight is marked "Crown/U". All visible serial numbers are matching. The wraparound grips are checkered with monogram imprints at the tops and a lanyard ring mounted at the base on the left side. The pistol falls within the range of "Scandinavian Police" serial numbers listed on page 148 of "Mauser Pocket Pistols: 1910-1946" by Roy G. Pender III

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% original blue finish, small handling marks, mild edge and high point wear, and small surface scratches. The trigger and extractor retain 75% of the fiery original nitre blue with some light flaking. The grip is also very fine with light handling marks and small dings. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured after World War I with standard fixed blade and notch sights, two-line address on the left side of the slide, small Mauser banner on the left side of the frame, caliber marking on the right side of the slide, and a single "crown/U" proof on top of the slide behind the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped "GERMANY" indicating it was produced for sales outside of Germany. Visible serial numbers are matching. Fitted with nitre blue small parts and checkered wraparound grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish, mild high point and edge wear, and small handling marks. The small parts retain 700% of the original fiery nitre blue finish with some light flaking and handling marks. The grips are very fine with handling marks and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
