Description:

The barrel is fitted with a thin ramped beaded blade front sight with wings and 6 inch grooved integral rib flat forward of the breech that has been fitted with an adjustable rear leaf sight. Sling swivels on the bottom of the barrel and stock, Martini style action with a spurred, contoured finger loop lever, double set triggers, and an adjustable tang mounted peep sight and a rare one piece Swiss style stock with a light Schnabel forend, checkered grip area, high comb, raised cheekpiece, and single hook buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 45% of the thinning mottled blue finish showing areas of light spotting and pitting that have been cleaned, light scratches and dings, and general handling marks. The receiver show original case colors in the more protected areas with the balance aged to a gray/brown patina with general handling marks, some light spotting mild pitting. The wood is about fine with scattered indentations throughout, well defined checkering, and a slight gap at the toe/buttplate junction (wood dry-out). The buttplate has aged to a smooth mottled gray/brown patina. Mechanically very good.
