Description:

Constructed from brown leather, with the Prussian eagle plate on the front, 5-hole vent spike with a round riveted base and an adjustable vent on the rear spine. The chinstrap is fitted with red/white/black and black/white/black cockades, with brass visor trim. The rear visor is ink stamped 1903, 1913, and 1915, with the first two struck out and a faint marking (possibly "50.B.K.S."), and the crown is stamped "28R." and "1903 (struck out)" next to a paper label reading "Musketier/Kambeck/Bezirkskommando Siegburg" indicating an unidentified infantry private with the District Command of Siegburg in modern-day North Rhine-Westphalia.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The rear visor is missing its stitching, and the webbing cord is absent from the interior. Otherwise it is showing only minor handling marks.
