This is a very fine example of a Swiss made Model 06/24 Luger pistol for the Swiss Military. Features an inverted "V" blade front and a rear notch sight integral to the rear toggle. The complete matching serial number "17817" is stamped on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel. The partial serial number "817" is stamped on the bottom of the barrel lug and the inside of each grip panel. The small parts are stamped with the partial number "17". The frame, barrel, and front toggle are stamped with small Geneva cross inspection marks. The left side of the frame is stamped "P.54" above the takedown latch. Fitted with the correct 1906 pattern grip safety and checkered walnut grips with smooth borders. Includes a Swiss pattern 1906 leather holster that has been marked "H. Tanner" followed by what appears to be a unit marking in ink on the inside of the flap. The back of the holster is stamped "17" and "ANDRES/SATTLER/WYNAU." inside an oval. The holster includes an extra unmarked wood and aluminum based magazine, and a shoulder strap.

Very fine with 98% plus arsenal refurbished blue finish, scattered light handling marks, and a small line along the safety levers direction of travel. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with tight stitching, small scuffs throughout, some slight staining and solid construction.
