Manufactured in 1943. Fitted with fixed blade front and notch rear sights, checkered slide catch, safety lever, and magazine catch, wide checkered hammer, and an arched checkered mainspring housing with a lanyard loop. The chamber area of the barrel, top of the slide and right side of the frame are stamped with "crown/BNP" British proofs. The tonnage rating is also stamped on the barrel chamber. The left side of the frame is stamped with the "G.H.D." final inspection mark and a "P" proof. Fitted with checkered Coltwood grips with the reinforcing ribs on the back.

Very fine with 80% plus original parkerized finish displaying some mild edge and high point wear, handling marks, and small takedown marks on the left side of the frame. The grips are also very fine with handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
