Description:

Manufactured in 1943. Features a serrated slide catch, checkered magazine catch, checkered thumb safety, checkered narrow hammer, and an arched checkered mainspring housing with a lanyard loop. The right side of the frame has standard model and serial number markings and the Ordnance Department "flaming bomb." The left side of the frame is correctly stamped the "FJA" final inspection mark and "P" proof behind the magazine catch. The barrel has the correct full blue finish with "P" on the right side of the lug and "HS" on the left. Fitted with a set of checkered Keyes Fiber grips with reinforcing ribs and reinforcing rings around the screws. Includes a "U.S." marked Graton & Knight Co. holster dated "1943" and a non-matching full blue magazine with lanyard loop.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus original dark green/gray parkerized finish. Displaying handling marks, light edge wear, small dings on the rear sight, and cycling marks. The grips are also excellent with handling marks and well defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with clear markings, flexible leather, small scuffs throughout, tight stitching and handling marks.
