Description:

Manufactured in 1942. The carbine has all early features including fixed blade front and two leaf rear peep sights, narrow type 1 barrel band, two-rivet handguard, unmarked, smooth magazine catch, unmarked push button safety, and a milled trigger group. The barrel is undated with a "W" stamp followed by the Winchester "WP" proof. Mounted on a high wood pistol grip stock with an "I" cut oiler, "W.R.A./G.H.D." and crossed cannons stamped on the right side, unmarked sling cutout, and a stamped checkered steel buttplate. Includes a tan canvas web sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored with 98% of the parkerized finish, light handling marks, and some cycling marks on the bolt and receiver rails. The wood is very fine with light handling marks, faint evidence of light sanding, small indentations, and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
