Originally manufactured in 1918 by Colt, this 1911 frame has been refurbished at Rock Island Arsenal with 1911A1 components including an Ithaca slide. Fixed sights, with the Ithaca address on the left side of the slide, "eagle/S14" inspection mark on the left side of the frame, and "flaming bomb", "RIA" and "FK" stamps on the right. Fitted with a serrated thin hammer, slide stop and thumb safety, long grip safety, stamped trigger, "G" stamped full blue magazine, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, aftermarket "DINAN" recoil spring guide and a High Standard barrel.

Good as arsenal refurbished with 60% of the matte gray finish showing a mixed brown patina on the grip straps and frame, bright gray along the high edges, dings and a broad shallow takedown line near the slide stop, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very good with some light pressure dents. The spring guide is slotted for a recoil buffer, which is not included. Mechanically excellent.
