Manufactured in 1943 (receiver). Fitted with standard blade front and adjustable rear peep sights, five prong flash hider, and an "NM" marked operating rod. The barrel is dated "S-A-8-52". The rifle is fitted with the correct M1D barrel, M82 scope mount, and an M84 telescopic sight, serial number "20093", with an extending front sun shield and rubber eyecup. Mounted on an unmarked oil finished stock with a stamped checkered trapdoor buttplate containing cleaning tools. Includes a green canvas web sling and "MRT/2 52" marked leather cheekpiece.

Very fine as restored and put in correct M1D configuration with 98% of the post-war green parkerized finish, small handling marks, and traces of high point and edge wear. The wood is fine with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear.
