Manufactured by Remington for the United States Army in World War II. The sights are properly absent from the barrel and receiver, with "R A/bomb/5 43" on the barrel and the receiver bearing the properly offset "U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3" marking on the left side of the receiver ring. The bolt shows "R" markings on multiple parts, with a standard 03-A3 profile safety lever and an A4 pattern contoured bolt handle. The scope is a Weaver 330 M8 fitted to a Redfield base with a set of twist-off rings. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled "P" behind the trigger guard, traces of a cartouche on the left side, a commercial Carlos Hathcock brand leather sling and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very good as professionally refinished, showing 95% plus parkerized finish, with some light scratches and handling marks overall. The reoiled stock is also very good, with a few mild dings and white spots. Optics are fine, with some mild wear and flaking of the exterior finish. Mechanically excellent.
