Description:

The Inland barrel is dated "3-45". Fitted with an "R" marked fixed blade front and milled adjustable rear sights. The carbine has late production features including the type 3 barrel band/bayonet lug, four-rivet handguard, unmarked magazine catch, and toggle style safety. The stock is the later style M2 "pot belly" type with the crossed cannon mark stamped on the right side and "IO" in the sling cutout on the left. Fitted with a stamped checkered steel buttplate. Includes a green canvas web sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 99% of the late war green/gray parkerized finish. Displaying small handling and cycling marks. The wood is excellent with deep color and small handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
