Manufactured in 1929 with dual bead sights on the vent rib barrels with ejectors. The receiver has standard grade 4 game bird engraving with broad leafy scroll and checkerboard engraved fences. The game scenes feature a pheasant on the right side and a flying duck on the left side. It has a single trigger, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. The barrel flats, ejectors and barrel breech faces are jeweled. Mounted on a grade 4 fleur-de-lis checkered pattern beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap, gold initial shield inscribed "EAG", and a vented Ithaca recoil pad. The stock dimensions are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches. The chambers have been lengthened from 2 7/8 inches to 3 1/2 inches. It has been estimated that only 56 grade 4 shotguns in 10 gauge were manufactured.

Very fine with 98% of the original blue finish, scattered small dings on the rib, small handling marks overall and light edge wear at the muzzle and breech. The receiver has 98% of the original vivid case colors and mild edge wear on the fences. The wood is very good with small dings, well defined checkering and small chips in the varnish at the frame junction.
