Manufactured around 1893. Equipped with a single brass bead sight, with the Hunter Arms/Fulton address on the matte rib, a fine Damascus twist pattern on the barrels, "3" on the underside behind the forearm lug and a starburst pattern on the rear lug. Matching numbers are present on the water table and the patent dates are on the frame. The frame is engraved with a fine scroll pattern and equipped with a pair of triggers and a dual-function auto/manual safety on the tang. Both lock plates bear an oval game scene, with a pair of game birds in a field on each side. Checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a scalloped horn grip cap and a checkered horn buttplate with a scene of two hunting dogs in a field between the screws. Measurements: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech right .730/left .735 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech right .045/left .0425 inch; muzzle diameter right .695/left .693 inch full/full; chamber 2 5/8 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches; cast neutral; weight 7 pounds 6.2 ounces.

Very good with 85% of the re-brown Damascus pattern on the barrels and some gray streaking and mild handling marks overall along with a few light dings and spots. Over half of the bright case colors are present on the frame and side plates, with the color especially vivid on the locks, showing a mixed gray patina on the remainder and some light spotting. The stock is fair as repaired with filler material in place of a tip insert and inscription panel on the forearm and in the heel of the buttplate along with scattered dents and scuffs. Mechanically very good.
