Manufactured in the late 1870s. Single bead sight on the smooth concave rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL", 3 inch chambers and a single extractor. The receiver has standard light scroll engraving, dual triggers, and the solid lifter button. The trigger guard is inscribed "T. SMILEY". Wedge fixed checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a smooth steel buttplate. The stock dimensions are: drop at comb 2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Fine with a thin brown patina on the barrels, visible Damascus patterning, small scattered dings, handling marks overall, and traces of a protective varnish. The wood is fine as likely period freshened with visible checkering, small surface cracks, small dings, and some darker staining. Mechanically excellent.
