Manufactured in 1933. Features standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel, and "NEW SERVICE 38 SPECIAL" on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with a set of checkered grips with inset silver Colt medallions. Includes a renumbered maroon Colt box with label that coincides with revolver configuration and papers.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish, browning of grip straps, light traces of high point and edge wear, small surface scratches, and handling marks. The grips are very fine with handling marks and some light dings. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with corner and edge wear, some weakening of the hinge, and storage marks.
