According to the included factory letter, this revolver was one of 10 shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois on July 18, 1916. The barrel has the two-line address/patent dates marking on top and Police Positive legend on the left side. The left side plate has the Rampant Colt. Fitted with checkered "COLT" embossed grips. The factory box is numbered to the gun. Includes "Special Instructions" and a City of Chicago firearm registration dated Dec. 21, 1910.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish showing limited muzzle wear and a few scattered minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with a tear on top of the lid and some scattered edge wear. Most of the label remains.
