Manufactured in 1972. This beautiful example of a Browning semi-automatic rifle was manufactured without sights on the barrel, standard maker, caliber, and model markings; and standard Belgian commercial proofs. The receiver features a deep blue finish with intricate floral and scroll engraving surrounding detailed large game scenes of moose on the right and elk on the left. The right scene is signed "J.M.Debrus", and the left scene is again signed by Debrus with the addition of the "J.M.Florent" signature directly below the elk scene. Each scene features four individually rendered gold inlaid animals in a detailed background with delicate gold wire inlaid border. Mounted on a high gloss checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with fine floral and beaded carved borders. The buttstock is fitted with a solid Browning recoil pad. Includes papers.

Excellent with 99% original blue finish, light handling marks, bold gold inlay work and masterfully executed engraving. The wood is also excellent with light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
