Beaded blade front and four leaf (one standing, three folding) rear express notch sights on the barrel marked "J&L WILKINS & Co. BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND". Built with a Mauser model 98 style action and chambered in .425 Westley & Richards, sometimes referred to as "the poor mans magnum" with it's rebated rim that allowed it to be used in a standard 98 action and loaded via stripper clips. Mounted on a heavy, checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivel eyes, double recoil bolts, and a solid rubber recoil pad.

Good as refinished with 80% of the blue finish, oxidation and mild pitting along the right side of the barrel, handling marks overall, and clear markings. The wood is very good with rich color and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
