Elevated bead front sight and two-leaf silver wire inlaid rear sight with a fixed 100 yard leaf and a folding 300 yard leaf, with the chamber marked "7x57/OBERMEYER/RACINE, WIS." on the left side. The receiver lacks makers markings, with a London style "crown/V" on the left side of the front ring next to the serial number, a pair of adjustment screws for the barrel labeled "R" and "L", and a set of claw bases. Matching numbers are present on the bolt, with "crown/V" proof, turned bolt handle with a light "spoon" profile, silver inlaid "SAFE" marking on the three-position safety, and an extra safety switch is installed on the right side of the tang. The scope is marked with the matching first half of the serial number on the rear ring, with the Birmingham address of Aldis Brothers at the front and J. Rigby's 45 Sackville Street address on the body. The stock is two-piece construction with a shotgun-style takedown lever on the forearm, fine checkering, a metal pistol grip cap, sling swivel studs and an unmarked recoil pad.

Fine as period custom barreled with 90% of the blue finish showing some areas of brown patina, mild spotting and light edge wear. The stock is good with some material absent from the slightly crushed recoil pad, mild dings and a few light scuffs. The forearm could not be dismounted for inspection. Optics are slightly fuzzy, with mild external wear. Mechanically excellent.
