The underside is marked with the Sauer mountain man over the Sauer logo, and a Stoeger retail marking reading "STOEGER ARMS CORP. NEW YORK/MADE IN/GERMANY". The action features dual triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a sling swivel eye, smooth plastic grip cap, and serrated Sauer buttplate. Barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .617/.617 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0565/.0565 inches; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Very good with 95% of the original blue finish on the barrels, handling marks, some gray patina near the breech, and missing front sling swivel eye. The receiver has aged to a dark gray patina with crisp engraving, handling marks, and clear markings. The wood is very good with scattered small indentations, handling marks, and well defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
