Blade front and two-leaf folding rear sights, with a set of claw mounts in the checkered rib, light oak leaf and punch dot engraved wedges on the sides of the chambers, a gryphon over the word "GRIEF" (German for gryphon) on the bottom lug, Krupp Fluid Steel markings on the underside of all three barrels, and an assortment of German proofs on and around the water table and chamber region. The arrangement is of two rifle barrels (both marked for 9.3x74) up top and one shotgun barrel (marked for 16 gauge) below and center. The box lock frame is finely engraved, with a woodland scene on each side and a mixture of oak leaf and floral engraving on the remainder, featuring a group of three wild hogs on the right side and a group of four deer on the left, with an oak leaf engraved Greener safety, tang-mounted selector switch, a full set of cocking indicators, smooth horn trigger guard and a pair of single set triggers. The splinter forearm and pistol grip stock are both checkered, with ebony diamond inserts behind the stock flats, dark brown horn grip cap, right handed shadow-line cheekpiece and a serrated buttplate with a repetition of the gryphon/"GRIEF" logo from the barrel lug. Equipped with a Lyman All-American 2 1/2x scope. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches with the set trigger engaged.

Very good as refinished (barrels), with 85% of the blue, showing some minor handling marks overall, a deep pit on the left rifle barrel 9 inches up from the breech, and scattered lighter pitting overall. The frame has turned a gray patina overall with some brown spotting. The detailing on the engraving is very good. The stock is fair, with mended cracks on the forearm and scattered dings. Optics are crisp, with the rings altered to accommodate the scope and some mild external wear. Mechanically very good.
