The rear of the rib is fitted with claw style scope bases, and the barrels have Krupp steel markings. The barrel flats are stamped with standard German commercial proofs. The 20 gauge shotgun barrels have 2 3/4 inch chambers, and improved modified/full chokes. The receiver features flourishes of light floral and border line engraving with a gold inlaid "crown/JM" on top of the break lever. Fitted with dual triggers, horn trigger guard, Greener style side safety, and tang mounted selector switch/rear sight actuator. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a smooth horn grip cap, sling swivels, raised cheekpiece, cartridge trap, and a checkered horn buttplate. Barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .623/.623 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0385/.0385 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. Very good with 85% of the blue finish on the barrels with some light muzzle wear, small dings, and handling marks. The receiver has a blue finish over casehardening with some areas thinning to a brown/gray patina, handling marks, and small surface scratches. The wood is fine with small dings, handling marks, well defined checkering, and some small bruises in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
