Features a bead on blade front and flip up rear notch sight on the rib. The shotgun barrels have 2 1/2 inch chambers and improved modified/full chokes. The barrels are marked "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" forward of the breech and fitted with claw type scope bases and a Weaver K4 scope. The receiver features floral and scroll engraving and is marked "KARL PFUND" and "MANNHEIM" on the right and left sides respectively. Fitted with dual triggers, left side mounted cocking lever for the rifle barrel, cocking indicators, tang mounted safety switch, and an adjustable flip up peep sight on the upper tang. Mounted on a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivels, engraved cartridge trap, raised cheekpiece, and a serrated horn buttplate. The barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .724/.731 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .058/.0545 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 3/8 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished with 70% of the blue. The barrels show areas thinning to a smooth gray patina, handling marks, small dings, and a ring of light pitting under the blue in the shape of the forearm. The receiver has a mostly silver gray patina with clear markings, handling marks, mild spotting and some darker gray on the lock plates. The wood is fine with small dings and indentations, moderate wear on the checkering, and small chips on the buttplate. Mechanically needs attention as the rear trigger does not always properly engage, and the rifle barrel may not fire.
